Magic resistance

Magic resistance, or MR, reduces incoming magic damage.

It helps against multiple magic sources but does not stop true damage. Enemy magic penetration can also reduce its effectiveness.

Look at the whole composition: buying it for one mage may be poor if the main threat is physical.
