Blind pick

Blind pick can mean choosing a champion before knowing the opposing lane matchup.

In draft, a safe blind choice reduces the risk of a hard counterpick and keeps later responses available.

The phrase has also named selection modes with limited information; context tells you whether it means draft strategy or a queue.
