Mid

Mid is the central-lane role, with quick access to both sides of the river.

Pushing the wave before moving creates time to help the jungler or visit another lane. Leaving without handling it often gives away resources.

A mid laner with priority can influence an objective without touching it if the opponent cannot leave lane in time.
