Off-meta

An off-meta choice differs from the champions or builds most commonly used in a patch and role.

It may serve a specific plan, exploit surprise or simply reflect a player's preference.

Uncommon does not mean unviable: judge the choice by its job, matchup and results rather than popularity alone.
