Positioning

Positioning is choosing where to stand to deal damage, protect allies or control space without unnecessary exposure.

A marksman seeks safe attack angles; a tank may hold an entrance that opponents need to cross.

The best position changes when abilities are spent, a flank appears or vision is lost; it is not one fixed map location.
