Power spike

A power spike is a sharp gain in champion strength from a level, ability, item or reward.

Completing an item before the opponent can open a short fight window. Waiting for your own purchase may beat fighting immediately.

It does not make the champion unbeatable: composition, positioning and available spells still matter.
