A lane swap moves players or a lane duo away from their usual assigned lanes.

It can avoid a difficult matchup, seek a turret or redistribute resources. In pro play it needs coordinated waves and jungle movement.

Its value and constraints depend on the patch; do not assume it always creates the same advantage.
