Summoner spell

A summoner spell is a tool chosen before the match, separate from a champion's own abilities.

Flash, Teleport or Smite change how players engage, escape or secure an objective. Their cooldowns create windows of advantage.

A fight may look even in gold but be uneven if one side has its spells ready and the other does not.
