Deny resources

To deny resources is to keep an opponent from earning gold, experience or safe access to an area.

In League this is generally done through wave control, threat and zoning rather than last-hitting allied minions.

A well-held freeze can create a larger gap than one kill if it forces an opponent to miss several waves.
